Many skilled players dream of achieving the “Italian sound”, which is often a quality perceived to be beyond their financial reach. However, over the years, we have specifically researched and now specialise in enabling some of the instruments prepared in our workshops to produce the “Italian sound”, and at a fraction of the price you would normally expect to pay.

For the conservatoire and young professional musician, we can offer a number of fine older instruments, carefully sourced, then restored and prepared with exceptional performance in mind.

Beyond these instruments are those that are prepared for mature professional work – for orchestral and chamber music and also for high profile solo work. These solo instruments are chosen for their exceptional breadth and power of tone, enabling them to carry to the back of a large concert hall. Our solo instruments are also particularly responsive for the player performing virtuoso concert works. 

Each one of these instruments is highly adaptable and, through the use of our tone development techniques, we can work with you to discover a new level of personal style and sound whilst also looking after your instrument on an on-going basis.
